Suggested Attendees: experience personnel wanting to learn the basics of Vibration Monitoring and Analysis technology, how to interpret vibration data and how to best apply it in the field. This course is also ideal for personnel who are or will be, responsible for the design, planning, maintenance or operations of condition monitoring or machine health management systems. This 2-day advanced course will provide students with theoretical knowledge, as well as practical experience through case studies.

• Understand how to select vibration analysis technology and field implementation techniques
• Understand when to apply vibration analysis and what it tells you about machine performance
• Understand the basics of vibration monitoring and analysis programs
• Interpret and trouble-shoot basic vibration readings for rotating and piping equipment,
including how to interpret an equipment vibration severity chart
• Develop, cost justify and integrate Vibration Monitoring programs into your Asset Management strategies
• Compare Ultrasonic Condition monitoring technology to Vibration Monitoring technology
