This course is valuable for all personnel involved in the planning, development and execution of an industrial budget.
The goal of the course is to produce a greater understanding and appreciation for the need and power of highly effective budgeting and cost control measures.

1) Explain and demonstrate what a budget is and its primary purpose.
2) Explain how the budgeting process and Performance Management are part of an overall Asset Performance Assurance program.
3) Explain the role of risk management in the budgeting process and how to better apply risk management.
4) Explain the different types of budgeting along with their advantages and disadvantages.
5) Explain the meaning of Budgetary Stewardship.
6) Explain how to develop a Performance Assurance program that includes the application of quality controlled business processes, including the budgeting process.
