(Reuters) - European shares pared losses in afternoon trade Tuesday after data showed a better-than-expected rise in U.S. retail sales in November.
By 1332 GMT, the pan-European FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index of top shares was down 0.1 percent at 1,127.75 points.
