Specialist Operations Paper Machines

Reporting to the Manager, Paper Machine this role exits to provide manufacturing expertise and knowledge to support achieving manufacturing objectives. The Specialist, Operations is accountable for the following:

· Ensure operators have knowledge, experience and procedures to make product safely and efficiently to specification

· Provide timely communication of equipment maintenance requirements to maintenance

· Maintain lock out and confined space procedures

· Maintain operator technical training materials

· Ensure daily operating plans are communicated and executed

· Direct the activities of crew on maintenance down days

· Provide troubleshooting expertise

The successful candidate will:

· Have 3-5 years of applicable production equipment and operational experience. Pulp & Paper experience preferred and/or engineering and technical background.

· Have completed a high school diploma or equivalent

· Be mechanically inclined with basic abilities to work in a safe and efficient manner

· Be a self starter with strong troubleshooting and technical abilities
