Junior/Intermediate Electrical Power Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify the constructed product meets design requirements, support Construction Function by clarifying scope as required, and resolve contractor site deviation requests
• Participate in investigating learning and prevention incidents (ILP\\\'s), Management of Change tasks (MOCs) in a timely manner
• Support area safety initiatives, comply with Canadian Electrical Code CEC, Process Safety Management Elements, operational excellence management system (OEMS) and Government Reporting compliance requirements
• Ensure that renovations, refurbishing, expansions and new electrical projects are in compliance with electrical regulatory standards and technical requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Eligible for registration, or already licensed, as a P. Eng in Alberta or other Canadian jurisdiction
• A strong team player with excellent interpersonal/communication skills
• Have a good working knowledge with single line, schematics and wiring diagrams
