Risk Engineer

Carver PA Corporation is recruiting Risk Engineers to:

·         Implement, lead the practice and improve the standard risk management system in Major Projects;

·         Provide technical support, training and risk response planning sessions in accordance with the risk management standard process;

·         Develop expertise in building and using project schedule risk models, and analysis tools.

·         Provide guidance to internal staff, lead teams, assist in the development, and professional delivery, of a range of qualitative and quantitative Risk Management Services;

·         Deliver professional technical risk services to clients

·         Manage project costs and optimize staff utilization.

Qualifications:

·         5-10+ years of risk experience with project, plant or field construction exposure, preferably in oil and gas, energy or pipeline industry (other industries will be considered);

·         Postsecondary education in engineering.  Project management, construction management or related disciplines will be an asset;

·         Hands on job background related to risk or reliability management;

·         Solid understanding of project planning and scheduling processes;

·         Experience leading and facilitating work in a group environment;

·         Practical knowledge in statistical methods, probability, reliability and/or risk analysis methods;

·         Application of Risk Management Tools and Techniques, expertise performing hazard and risk reviews, and strong facilitation experience;

·         Able to develop enterprise/organizational/project risk assessments;

·         Excellent analytical/problem solving, organizational and planning skills.
