Mine Planning Engineer

Carver PA Corporation is recruiting Mine Planning Engineers to:

·         Be responsible for mine planning including pit dewatering, road and ramp design

·         Perform mine modeling with Pit bench design and equipment scheduling

·         Perform cost scheduling and special projects

·         Maintain a high level of communication within the mine and tailings areas;

·         Develop monthly, quarterly and annual mine plans;

·         Develop reliability and efficiency modeling;

·         Analyze mine equipment productivity;

·         Conduct equipment specification and selection;

·         Comply with all Health and Safety requirements established by Carver’s clients;

·         Know and comply with all regulations and legislative requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for the province of Alberta and environmental standards;

·         Other duties can be assigned depending on the project

Qualifications:

·         Engineering degree in a related discipline;

·         5-10+ years of related experience;

·         P.Eng or eligibility will be considered an asset;

·         Excellent communication skills;
