Carver PA Corporation is recruiting Electrical Coordinators to:

·         Coordinate maintenance, repair and replacement of substations of various voltage and substation equipment;

·         Coordinate maintenance and repair of equipment on overhead and underground distribution (power transformers, distribution transformers, disconnect switches, power distribution centers, fuses, lighting and emergency generators);

·         Provide technical assistance to operations;

·         Perform other tasks and duties as assigned;

·         Comply with all Health and Safety requirements established by Carver’s clients

·         Know and comply with all regulations and legislative requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety Act for the province of Alberta and environmental standards

Qualifications:

·         5-10+ years of related experience preferably in supervisory role;

·         University degree, diploma or trade certificate;

·         Thorough knowledge of CSA Standards;

• Thorough knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code;

·         Experience in trouble shooting and problem solving on in - service low/medium/high voltage equipment;

·         Experience using various formats for electrical drawings and documentation associated with low/medium/high voltage systems;

·         The ability to work independently within a dynamic work environment is essential;

·         Well developed communications, organizational and interpersonal skills are required;
Proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office applications
