COURSE OBJECTIVES
In this Workshop module you will:
• Learn to identify appropriate maintenance planning programs and strategies (e.g., Run to Fail, Preventive, On Condition & Predictive). • Apply Value = Benefit - Cost strategy to justifying your maintenance activities. • Understand a World Class workflow process and why each step is necessary including calculating standby time and overall scheduling % efficiency • Understand equipment criticality and Life Cycle maintenance planning and how Maintenance Planning directly impacts Plant and Equipment Life Cycle costs. • Understand the basics of failure analysis and asset performance management. • Apply the elements and processes of estimating task cost and duration based on quality, time or cost drivers. • Understand and apply scheduling and control methods to impact deliverables such as implementation costs, time and quality. • Understand the need for long term PM and resource leveling to accomplish O & M goals.
